When you want something special or a little out of the ordinary, why not take the opportunity to create your own unique Strandkorb from our multitude of weaves, woods and upholstery materials?

Using the basic Strandkorb types ‘Ruegen’ and ‘Sylt’ as your starting point, you can create a style and specification that’s perfect for you. That's how you get your authentic ‘Heringsdorfer’ Strandkorb! How will yours look..?

Your choices include:

- Style & width of your beach chair
- Full Sun-bed/lounger option – Sylt models only
- Type of wood and colours/finish
- Weaves – a range of natural and synthetic options
- Type of fittings
- Upholstery materials and type of awning
- Additional features – wheels, foot rests, tables, storage, pillows, cushions, etc.
- Basketwork and wood options - traditional or contemporary

All our synthetic weaves are weatherproof and easy-care. Worthy of a special mention are the extremely naturalistic rattan-look polyethylene (PE) fibres used for decades by the leading garden furniture manufacturers. They offer top quality, UV resistance and are extremely hard-wearing.

If you prefer only natural materials, then choose from genuine cane, boondoot or rattan basketwork. With regular care you can enjoy the charm of these wonderful pieces of authentic wickerwork far into the future!

Are you looking for something truly extraordinary? Then why not consider our leather look polyvinyl (PV) synthetic weaves. Again, the choice is yours!

Alongside the weave, your original Strandkorb draws its charm from its handcrafted wooden elements. All our wooden parts are treated in an environmentally friendly manner with oil or an open-pore wood protection stain, regardless of whether they are visible or not.

Design your perfect Strandkorb
